Happiness lies in contentment.

Happiness consists of contentment.

Everybody knows that happiness is in contentment.

I always find contentment in a good book.

A look of contentment appeared on his face.

Therefore do thou hold Patience, a Patience of beautiful (contentment).

In the still of the night I find peace and contentment.

And that it is He Who has given wealth and contentment?

And beauty doesn't equate to goodness, and certainly doesn't equate to contentment.

And that it is He (Allah) Who gives much or a little (or gives wealth and contentment),

Musa (Moses) said O my Lord! Open for me my chest (grant me self confidence, contentment, and boldness).

We trade the sort of security and safety of a certain level of contentment for these transcendent moments.

But how would things go if now all tranquillity, all prosperity, all contentment should come to a horrible end?

A jealous person gets a feeling of contentment by behaving like a dog in the manger even with his friends.

Like us also, each animal has the ability to express contentment, to build family structures, and want of satisfying basic instincts and desires.

And Allah did this just for your happiness and for your hearts to gain contentment and help does not come except from Allah indeed Allah is Almighty, Wise.

Say Shall I inform you of something better than that? For those who keep from evil, with their Lord, are Gardens underneath which rivers flow wherein they will abide, and pure companions, and contentment from Allah. Allah is Seer of His bondmen,

O dear Prophet (Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him) take the obligatory charity from their wealth, by which you may cleanse them and make them pure, and pray in their favour indeed your prayer is the contentment of their hearts and Allah is All Hearing, All Knowing.

And when Abraham prayed My Lord! Make this a region of security and bestow upon its people fruits, such of them as believe in Allah and the Last Day, He answered As for him who disbelieveth, I shall leave him in contentment for a while, then I shall compel him to the doom of Fire a hapless journey's end!

Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him We will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and We shall pay them certainly a reward in proportion to the best of what they used to do (i.e. Paradise in the Hereafter).

And (remember) when Ibrahim (Abraham) said, My Lord, make this city (Makkah) a place of security and provide its people with fruits, such of them as believe in Allah and the Last Day. He (Allah) answered As for him who disbelieves, I shall leave him in contentment for a while, then I shall compel him to the torment of the Fire, and worst indeed is that destination!

And their Prophet said to them, Indeed the sign of his kingdom will be the coming of a (wooden) box to you, in which from your Lord is the contentment of hearts and containing some souvenirs (remnants) left behind by the honourable Moosa and the honourable Haroon (Aaron), borne by the angels indeed in it is a great sign for you if you are believers. (The remnants of pious persons are blessed by Allah.)
