Poor sacrifices of our enmity!

By love alone is enmity allayed.

You feel suspicion towards someone, and you feel real 'uhg' enmity between them.

Than twenty of their swords look thou but sweet, And I am proof against their enmity.

Thou seest many of them vying in sin and enmity, and how they consume the unlawful evil is the thing they have been doing.

(Allah) said Get ye down. With enmity between yourselves. On earth will be your dwelling place and your means of livelihood, for a time.

Fight them, till there is no persecution and the religion is God's then if they give over, there shall be no enmity save for evildoers.

It may be that Allah will ordain love between you and those of them with whom ye are at enmity. Allah is Mighty, and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

It may be that Allah establishes love between you and those with whom you are at enmity. Allah is the Powerful, Allah is the Forgiving and the Most Merciful.

It may be God will yet establish between you and those of them with whom you are at enmity love. God is All powerful God is All forgiving, All compassionate.

It may well be that Allah will implant love between you and those with whom you have had enmity. Allah is Most Powerful and Allah is Most Forgiving, Most Compassionate.

Indeed Satan seeks to cast enmity and hatred among you through wine and gambling, and to hinder you from the remembrance of Allah and from prayer. Will you, then, relinquish?

Satan only wishes to create among you enmity and hatred through wine and gambling, and to divert you from the remembrance of God and prayer. Will you therefore not desist?

(If their enmity to Gabriel is due to this, let them understand that) whoever is enemy to Allah, His Angels, His Messengers, Gabriel and Michael, Allah is enemy to such disbelievers.

It may well be that God will create goodwill between you and those of them with whom you are now at enmity for God is all powerful, most forgiving and merciful.

Satan's plan is (but) to excite enmity and hatred between you, with intoxicants and gambling, and hinder you from the remembrance of Allah, and from prayer will ye not then abstain?

It may be that Allah will bring about affection between you and those with whom you are at enmity, and Allah is all powerful, and Allah is all forgiving, all merciful.

The devil only seeks to instil hatred and enmity between you with wine and gambling, and to prevent you from the remembrance of Allah and from prayer so have you desisted?

Satan only desires to precipitate enmity and hatred between you in regard to wine and arrow shuffling, and to bar you from the remembrance of God, and from prayer. Will you then desist?

O believers, when you conspire secretly, then conspire not together in sin and enmity and disobedience to the Messenger, but conspire in piety and godfearing. Fear God, unto whom you shall be mustered.

By intoxicants and games of chance Satan only desires to create enmity and hatred between you, and to turn you away from the remembrance of Allah and from Prayer. Will you, then, desist?

And not alike are the good and the evil. Repel (evil) with what is best, when lo! he between whom and you was enmity would be as if he were a warm friend.

Satan seeks to sow enmity and hatred among you by means of wine and gambling, and to keep you from the remembrance of God and from your prayers. Will you not then abstain?

Good and evil deeds are not equal. Repel with that which is most just, and see, the one whom there is enmity between you will be as if he were a loyal guide.

Nor can good and evil be equal. Repel thou evil with that which is goodly then behold he between whom and thee there was enmity, will be as though he was a warm friend.

Good and evil conduct are not equal. Repel evil with what is best. If you do so, he between whom and you was enmity, will then be as though he were a sympathetic friend.

Not equal are the good deed and the evil deed. Repel with that which is fairer and behold, he between whom and thee there is enmity shall be as if he were a loyal friend.

Satan seeketh only to cast among you enmity and hatred by means of strong drink and games of chance, and to turn you from remembrance of Allah and from (His) worship. Will ye then have done?

And the good deed and the evil deed will never be equal O listener! Repel the evil deed with a good one, thereupon the one between whom and you was enmity, will become like a close friend.

Shaitan (Satan) wants only to excite enmity and hatred between you with intoxicants (alcoholic drinks) and gambling, and hinder you from the remembrance of Allah and from As Salat (the prayer). So, will you not then abstain?

The good deed and the evil deed are not alike. Repel the evil deed with one which is better, then lo! he, between whom and thee there was enmity (will become) as though he was a bosom friend.

And not equal are the good deed and the bad. Repel evil by that deed which is better and thereupon the one whom between you and him is enmity will become as though he was a devoted friend.

Because when my grandparents were born, they pretty much had their sense of home, their sense of community, even their sense of enmity, assigned to them at birth, and didn't have much chance of stepping outside of that.

(O Prophet), good and evil are not equal. Repel (evil) with that which is good, and you will see that he, between whom and you there was enmity, shall become as if he were a bosom friend (of yours).

The Shaitan only desires to cause enmity and hatred to spring in your midst by means of intoxicants and games of chance, and to keep you off from the remembrance of Allah and from prayer. Will you then desist?

On that Day He will say to them, Call on those whom you thought to be My partners. And they will call on them, but their prayer will not be heard and We shall place a barrier of enmity between them.

They fight not against you even together, except in fortified townships, or from behind walls. Their enmity among themselves is very great. You would think they were united, but their hearts are divided, that is because they are a people who understand not.

Believers! Be upright bearers of witness for Allah, and do not let the enmity of any people move you to deviate from justice. Act justly, that is nearer to God fearing. And fear Allah. Surely Allah is well aware of what you do.

Now surely they fold up their breasts that they may conceal (their enmity) from Him now surely, when they use their garments as a covering, He knows what they conceal and what they make public surely He knows what is in the breasts.

They will not fight you in a body except in fortified cities, or from behind the walls. Their enmity among themselves is great. You think they are united, but divided are their hearts. That is because these people are devoid of sense,

He said Get ye down, both of you, all together, from the Garden, with enmity one to another but if, as is sure, there comes to you Guidance from Me, whosoever follows My Guidance, will not lose his way, nor fall into misery.

Then the Shaitan (Satan) made them slip therefrom (the Paradise), and got them out from that in which they were. We said Get you down, all, with enmity between yourselves. On earth will be a dwelling place for you and an enjoyment for a time.

O you who believe! Stand out firmly for Allah and be just witnesses and let not the enmity and hatred of others make you avoid justice. Be just that is nearer to piety, and fear Allah. Verily, Allah is Well Acquainted with what you do.

And with those who say, We are Christians, We made a covenant, but they neglected a portion of what they were reminded of, therefore We excited among them enmity and hatred to the day of resurrection and Allah will inform them of what they did.
