Indeed We have adorned the lowest heaven with the finery of the stars,

And there is the Chief, in all his regal finery, with a laptop computer.

O Prophet, say to your wives 'If you seek this life and its finery, come, I will release you with a fine release.

O Prophet! Say to your wives, If you desire the life of this world and its finery, then let me compensate you, and release you kindly.

So he went forth to his people in his finery. Those who desire this world's life said O would that we had the like of what Qaroun is given most surely he is possessed of mighty good fortune.

Women past the age of childbearing, who have no desire for marriage, commit no wrong by taking off their outer clothing, provided they do not flaunt their finery. But to maintain modesty is better for them. God is Hearing and Knowing.

Say, Who forbade God s finery which He has produced for His servants, and the delights of livelihood? Say, They are for those who believe, in this present world, but exclusively theirs on the Day of Resurrection. We thus detail the revelations for people who know.

Remain in your houses and display not your finery, as did the pagans of old. And perform the prayer, and pay the alms, and obey God and His Messenger. People of the House, God only desires to put away from you abomination and to cleanse you.

Stay in your houses and do not flaunt your finery like the former days of pagan ignorance. Maintain the prayer and pay the zakat, and obey Allah and His Apostle. Indeed Allah desires to repel all impurity from you, O People of the Household, and purify you with a thorough purification.

And Musa said Our Lord! surely Thou hast given to Firon and his chiefs finery and riches in this world's life, to this end, our Lord, that they lead (people) astray from Thy way Our Lord! destroy their riches and harden their hearts so that they believe not until they see the painful punishment.

And stay in your houses and do not display your finery like the displaying of the ignorance of yore and keep up prayer, and pay the poor rate, and obey Allah and His Apostle. Allah only desires to keep away the uncleanness from you, O people of the House! and to purify you a (thorough) purifying.

Stay in your homes and do not display your finery as pagan women used to do in the olden Days of Ignorance. Establish your prayers, pay the obligatory charity, and obey Allah and His Messenger. O family of the House, Allah only wishes to distance fault from you, and to cleanse you, and to purify you abundantly.
