So that's one thing we can do. But of course we could use multiple views.

Primarily I would be interested in how it would interact with, say, going to a college campus, and then being used as a way of talking about the earth sciences, the world, the situation of the globe.

This was one of my students from a few years earlier, and he came one day back to campus.

This slide can just give you a sense of some of the amazing growth.

For the small TED team, this was a very hard concept to scale.

And I would like to tell you a few personal stories about what I like to call the danger of the single story.

And what they did was that they took a number of examples, a number of images of the leading buildings, such as this clocktower.

They've got that royal family and all kinds of problems, but here at Sunnydale, nobody leaves campus while school's in session.

We built this model in New York, actually, as a theoretical model on the campus of a technical university soon to come, and the reason we picked this site to just show you what these buildings may look like, because the exterior can change.

We've had about 40 youth events and there have been about 100 events on university campuses.

When you have a TEDx event in Taipei, that live streams their event to mainland China, to all university campuses.

And the students basically over two weeks acted as if they were naturalists as if they were just like Darwin in the Galapagos but they were in the Stanford campus.

So when it only had 16, it was only about as big as this college campus.

This year we challenged our students to craft an honor code themselves.

You just type Notre Dame into Flickr, and you get some pictures of guys in T shirts, and of the campus and so on.

My poetry professor in College was Olga Broumas, this beautiful Greek Sapphic poet, who would float around campus as if she was on air.

We're going to take dozens of hours at some field across campus at some ungodly hour of the morning and we're going to measure your performance, and your team's performance, and if you don't measure up or you don't show up, we're going to cut you off the team.

Or a girl who decides that she is going to leave love letters around her campus in Dubuque, Iowa, only to find her efforts ripple effected the next day when she walks out onto the quad and finds love letters hanging from the trees, tucked in the bushes and the benches.
