It's like dying from inside out.

We are all strangers walking on borrowed land.

She has one of the hardest jobs in the world.

In 2005 Israel withdraws from the Gaza strip, uprooting 8,500 Israeli citizens...hoping to advance peace.

But they're playing geopolitics.

Prime Minister Olmert accepts nearly all Palestinian demands... including handing over almost 100 of the West Bank... with minor land swaps.

We feel like we can do anything, because of what was done to us.

So we arrived with just our ladders and we realized that they were not high enough.

Let's fast forward to 1993... Israel and the Palestinians sign the Oslo Accords.

I didn't find any reason why not to meet them and let them know of our suffering.

The resistance in Budrus has since spread to villages across the West Bank and to Palestinian neighborhoods in Jerusalem.

I mean, at that time, trust me, they were only referring to the Israeli and Palestinian conflict.

Also, three guys working for years in Los Angeles, an Iranian, a Palestinian and an Egyptian, created the aptly named Axis of Evil comedy act.

During the next five years... Israel saw a significant increase in terrorist attacks... Which killed hundreds of Israelis.

And more controversially, recently,

We visit Kibbutzim that were established by Holocaust survivors.

Power is the ability not just to tell the story of another person, but to make it the definitive story of that person.

Oh, we're actually doing an art project and we are pasting an Israeli and a Palestinian doing the same job.

If Gaza can have a functioning port and be linked to the West Bank, you can have a viable Palestinian state,

I want to see you again.

The road is hard but the destination is clear a secure, Jewish state of Israel and an independent, prosperous Palestine.

From whom did Israel capture the West Bank? ...From the Palestinians?

So we decided to take portraits of Palestinians and Israelis doing the same jobs taxi driver, lawyer, cooks.

There's Just Vision, that are working with Palestinians and Israelis who are working together for peace, and documenting that process and getting interviews out there and using this film to take to Congress to show that it's a powerful tool, to show that this is a woman who's had her daughter killed in an attack, and she believes that there are peaceful ways to solve this.

That is, of course, in Palestine.

Now lets look at a perennial conflict in the region.

But Israel didn't give up saying YES ..

That is what America embodies, and that is the vision we will support.

And the story we usually hear sounds very simple

It will be as big as your house.

I have been through Europe and Africa and America.

When Palestinian and Israeli politicians talk, they usually don't listen to each other, but a Palestinian reader still reads a novel by a Jewish author, and vice versa, connecting and empathizing with the narrator.

I believe that what's mostly missing for nonviolence to grow is not for Palestinians to start adopting nonviolence, but for us to start paying attention to those who already are.

Now I know what some of you are thinking.

That, I believe, is going to bring peace to this particular conflict.
