Larger machines with outrigger supports require additional steps during the leveling process

Repeat this step until the bubble is adjusted to zero at both ends of the Y axis travel

First, we use a technique called dynamic time warping from speech recognition.

At the column side, look to see which rear corner of the machine if any, is lowest as shown by the leveling tool

Measure from the base casting lower flange and lift the casting four inches (4 or 100mm) off the ground by adjusting the four corner leveling screws to the same height.

The middle screws will be seated in this next step and will be used to align the B and Y axes
