It's actually horrible.

The stock, which was valued. at 1½, now has a par value of over 9 a share.

And this actually just falls straight out of this equation.

And this calculation, this multiplication of market price per share times the number of shares this is called the market cap

And then, inside the if , we have the block, and the block is the code that will run when the test expression is True.

Our liabilities are still 3 billion.

Now what's our mantra of this day and age I wonder?

They're saying it's worth 5 million.

And let's say that there are 100 million shares.

They've never made money.

Let's say that the market value we talked before that the book value per share of this company is 5.

It keeps going as long as the test expression is True

So instead of just having what we had before, where we have an if and we have a test expression, and we have a block that executes when the test expression is True, what we want to do is have something that executes when the test expression is False.

So this is this 3 billion of equity divided by the number of shares.

And what we found was that the builders thought that these were beautiful pieces of origami (Laughter) and they were willing to pay five times more for them than the people who just evaluated them externally.

By applying the same price to earnings, we're saying that the market value of this equity is 210,000, while the market value of this equity is what was it? 189,000.

And it's something interesting here.

So, in this situation, let's think about this situation where the stock price goes down

So, remember, assets are equal to liabilites plus shareholder's equity, so if all of a sudden the market value of the equity, the market capitalization, for Ben's shoe company is 215,000... (That is the equity part right over here)

They probably took some fees or sold the loans for slightly more than they issued the loans for.
