To which Day has this task been deferred?

He said Then lo! thou art of those reprieved

He said Lo! thou art of those reprieved

For what day is the time appointed?

The Lord said, Your request is granted

The Lord said, You will only be given a respite

If one asks, To which day have such calamitous events been postponed?

He said So surely you are of the respited ones

He said Surely you are of the respited ones,

To what day is the doom fixed?

He said, You are granted respite

so He said, You are granted respite

for what Day has this been appointed?

(Allah) said Respite is granted thee
