And as I say, most of them really die very horribly, 80 is very bad for you. now that means, that is really bizarre that one should ask the question why should we defy aging.

As a concrete example maybe there are three types of breast cancers and so you may try to predict the discrete value of zero, one, two, or three with zero being benign.

Now it's bad enough that breast density makes it hard to find a cancer, but it turns out that it's also a powerful predictor of your risk for breast cancer.

Only instead of, you know, good and bad cancer tumors or benign or malignant tumors we instead have diabetes or not and so we will use that as a supervised, we will solve that as a Supervised Learning problem just like we did for the breast tumor data.

But now, you ask me, but what about war, the war on cancer?

And so, please consider this a work in progress, but I'd like to tell you today a story about a very rare cancer called midline carcinoma, about the undruggable protein target that causes this cancer, called BRD4, and about a molecule developed at my lab at Dana Farber Cancer Institute, called JQ1, which we affectionately named for Jun Qi, the chemist that made this molecule.

And that this, in fact, will be the way that we treat cancer in the future.
