What is that definition of the Third World anyway?

The expression Third World is truly an arrogant claim.

So we are bridging the digital divide.

But it is not the Third World. What's the First World then?

World War Il, Vietnam, and the third was historically neutral.

Here in the West, it's easy to criticize Third World labor practices

You had the creation of new states in Eastern Europe, the former Yugoslav republics and the Balkans, and the 'stans of central Asia.

World War II.

World War Three.

Germany was allied with Italy in World War II.

And on the other side of that, you had the Triple Alliance you have Germany, you have Austria Hungary, and you also have... you also have Italy.

Humans fucking it up?

And I think the reason is, the world was very different,

But for the most part, in modern Europe, the linguistic boundaries and the national boundaries kind of match up.

I mean, there's enormous pressures to harmonize freedom of speech legislation and transparency legislation around the world within the E.U., between China and the United States.

This will not happen again .

But that's no longer true.

But careful now we are approaching the First World War.

Japan and some others try to follow but most countries stay down here.

Once again, the same process repeats.

So, why aren't governments blaring this on television?

It is not a Third World, it's just a world that has developed differently or hasn't developed as fast.

You're an elite audience. You get it.

That country remained neutral throughout World War II.

They had been in the States until the end of World War II.
