And the example of a bad saying is like a filthy tree, which is cut off above the ground, therefore not having stability.

And the likeness of a corrupt word is as a corrupt tree uprooted from the earth, having no stablishment.

And the similitude of the foul word is as a foul tree, uprooted from upon the earth, and there is for it no stability.

And the parable of an evil word is that of an evil tree uprooted from the surface of earth having no stability.

And the parable of a bad word is that of a bad tree it is uprooted from the ground it has no stability.

And the example of an evil word is that of an evil tree, uprooted from the surface of the earth, wholly unable to endure.

And the similitude of a bad saying is as a bad tree, uprooted from upon the earth, possessing no stability.

An evil word is compared to an evil tree with no firm roots in the land and thus has no stability.

And the parable of an evil word is as an evil tree pulled up from the earth's surface it has no stability.

but an evil word is like an evil tree torn out of the earth it has no foothold.

And the parable of an evil Word is that of an evil tree It is torn up by the root from the surface of the earth it has no stability.

And the parable of a bad word is that of a bad tree uprooted from the ground, it has no stability.

The likeness of a corrupt word is like a corrupt tree uprooted from the earth having no stability.

And the example of a bad word is like a bad tree, uprooted from the surface of the earth, not having any stability.

An evil act is like a rotten tree torn out of the earth with no (base or) firmness.

And We illustrate these examples for mankind and none except the knowledgeable understand them.

And those similitudes We strike them for the people, but none understands them save those who know.

And these similtudes! We propound them for mankind and none understand them save men of knowledge.

And these similitudes We put forward for mankind, but none will understand them except those who have knowledge (of Allah and His Signs, etc.).

These examples We put them forward to the people but none grasps them except the learned.

These are the parables that We set forth to make people understand. But only those endowed with knowledge will comprehend them.

As for these similitudes, We coin them for mankind, but none will grasp their meaning save the wise.

These are parables which We tell to human being, but only the learned ones understand them.

And (as for) these examples, We set them forth for men, and none understand them but the learned.

Such are the comparisons We make for people, but only those understand them who have knowledge.

We draw these parables for mankind but no one grasps them except those who have knowledge.

And We strike these parables for the people, but none understands except the knowledgeable.

And these examples We present to the people, but none will understand them except those of knowledge.

These are precepts of wisdom We offer to men, but only those who are rational understand.

And such are the Parables We set forth for mankind, but only those understand them who have knowledge.

Therefore worship Allah, as His sincere bondmen even if the disbelievers get annoyed.

So call unto God, making your religion His sincerely, though the unbelievers be averse.

Wherefore call Unto Allah, making religion for Him pure, though the infidels be averse.

However much the disbelievers (in the Oneness of Allah) may hate (it).

So call upon God, with sincere devotion to Him, even though the disbelievers resent it.

So call upon Allah, consecrating all your devotion to Him, howsoever much the unbelievers may dislike it.

Therefor (O believers) pray unto Allah, making religion pure for Him (only), however much the disbelievers be averse

Worship God and be devoted to His religion even though the disbelievers dislike this.

Therefore call upon Allah, being sincere to Him in obedience, though the unbelievers are averse

Therefore call upon God, making faith pure for Him, averse as the deniers of the truth may be to it

So supplicate Allah, putting exclusive faith in Him, though the faithless should be averse.

Supplicate then to Allah making your religion sincerely His, even though the unbelievers oppose it.

So invoke Allah, being sincere to Him in religion, although the disbelievers dislike it.

So call on God with exclusive obedience, howsoever the unbelievers may dislike it.

Call ye, then, upon Allah with sincere devotion to Him, even though the Unbelievers may detest it.
