And It's again stopped a little bit there, but I can fill it in and the pulmonary veins are gonna deliver that oxygenated blood to the left atrium.

You tie it 8 10 centimeters from where the needle will be injected.

And so they don't dump necessarily directly into the inferior superior vena cava.

And this part of the journey is called the pulmonary circulation.

Cycled.

The cycle of blood is not regular.

Where do they get their water? Where do they get their shelter?

So now you've actually seen the second circulation, because it all ends up in the right atrium. And this is the systemic circulation.

Barbarically, we're killing sharks for shark fin soup, undermining food chains that shape planetary chemistry and drive the carbon cycle, the nitrogen cycle, the oxygen cycle, the water cycle our life support system.

Let's now keep going and talk about the second part of the circulatory system, which is the systemic circulation.

This is now going to dump into what we call a venule.

So now you can see that the heart is really two different system err let'say two different circuit, rather.

So you have these arteries right over here, the red tubes. Those are arteries. and then the blue ones are veins.

When you exhale, it goes in the exhale counter lung when you inhale, it comes from the inhale counter lung.

I just write that here. So these are the two major veins that bring you back blood from the all the different parts of the body.

I mean, you've got red ones, and blue ones, and the blue ones are the veins, and the red ones are the arteries but are they part of the systemic flow, or pulmonary flow, or something else?

There's also another one over here called the superior vena cava, and this is bringing back blood from the arms and head.

And you've got another vessel going, I've just drawn kind of going to the left lung, like that.

And at the bottom here, you can't see it because it's on the other side of the heart, but there's another vein called the inferior vena cava.

And the second one is relying on the left ventricle as the pump.

Inferior vena cava, and this is the large vein that brings back all the blood from the bottom half of the body.

The most fundamental is called the breathing loop.

So what you see kind of colored in now, is the pulmonary circulation. That's the first part of our circuit.

And it generally travels through two major kind of vessels.

You've got pulmonary arteries carrying blood, you've got bronchial arteries carrying blood and that blood mixes.
