| Lo! those who disbelieve spend their wealth in order that they may debar (men) from the way of Allah. They will spend it, then it will become an anguish for them, then they will be conquered. And those who disbelieve will be gathered unto hell, | 本当に信じない者たちはアッラーの道から 人びとを 妨げるために その財資を費やしている それを費やさせなさい 間もなくそれはかれらの苦悩となり その中かれらは征服されよう これら不信心者は地獄に集められるであろう |
| What (plea) have they that Allah should not punish them, when they debar (His servants) from the Inviolable Place of Worship, though they are not its fitting guardians. Its fitting guardians are those only who keep their duty to Allah. But most of them know not. | かれらは聖なるマスジドの管理者でもないのに アッラーのしもベを そこに入れまいと妨げたことに対して アッラーがかれらを処罰されずにおかない 真の 管理者は 主に対し 義務を果たす者だけである だがかれらの多くはそれが分らない |
| As for those who deny the truth and debar others from God's path and from the Sacred Mosque which We set up for all people, natives and strangers alike, and all who seek to profane it by evil doing We shall make them taste a painful punishment. | 本当に信仰を拒否した者 人びとを アッラーの道から妨げる者 そこ マッカ の居住者であろうと 外来者であろうと凡て われが人びとのために建立した聖なるマスジド に入ること を拒否する者 そしてその中で神聖を汚し不義を企む者には われは痛ましい懲罰を味わせるであろう |
| When you divorce women, and they have reached their term, do not debar them from marrying their husbands, when they have agreed together honourably. That is an admonition for whoso of you believes in God and the Last Day that is cleaner and purer for you God knows, and you know not. | あなたがたが妻を離別し 定められた期間が満了して双方の合意の下に 妥当に話がまとまったならば かの女らの結婚を 前の 夫は妨げてはならない これ 教え は あなたがたの中アッラーと最後の日を信じる者への訓戒である それはあなたがたにとって 最も清浄であり潔白である あなたがたは知らないが アッラーは知っておられる |
| O ye who believe! Lo! many of the (Jewish) rabbis and the (Christian) monks devour the wealth of mankind wantonly and debar (men) from the way of Allah. They who hoard up gold and silver and spend it not in the way of Allah, unto them give tidings (O Muhammad) of a painful doom, | あなたがた信仰する者たちよ 律法学者や修道士の多くは偽って人びとの財産を貪り かれらを アッラーの道から妨げている また金や銀を蓄えて それをアッラーの道のために施さない者もいる かれらに痛ましい懲罰を告げてやれ |
