And those who avoid heinous sins and indecencies, and when they are wroth forgive.

And those who shun the worst of sins and indecencies and, when they are wroth, forgive,

(Moses) said Be not wroth with me that I forgot, and be not hard upon me for my fault.

When if one of them receiveth tidings of the birth of a female, his face remaineth darkened, and he is wroth inwardly.

And when there is announced unto any of them a female his countenance remainoth darkened the whole day and he is wroth inwardly.

Have you not seen those who befriend a people with whom Allah is wroth? They are neither of you nor of them, and they swear falsely while they know.

O ye who believe! befriend not a people against whom Allah is Wroth. Surely they have despaired of tHe Hereafter even as have despaired the entombed of the infidels. S

Whoso slayeth a believer of set purpose, his reward is hell for ever. Allah is wroth against him and He hath cursed him and prepared for him an awful doom.

O you who believe! do not make friends with a people with whom Allah is wroth indeed they despair of the hereafter as the unbelievers despair of those in tombs.

And whoso slays a believer wilfully, his recompense is Gehenna, therein dwelling forever, and God will be wroth with him and will curse him, and prepare for him a mighty chastisement.

And when there is announced Unto any of them the birth of that which he likeneth Unto the Compassionate, his countenance remaineth darkened the whole day and he is wroth inwardly.

Hast thou not seen those who take for friends a folk with whom Allah is wroth? They are neither of you nor of them, and they swear a false oath knowingly.

And whosoever slayeth a believer intentionally, His meed is Hell, as an abider therein and Allah shall be wroth with him and shall curse him, and shall get ready for him a torment terrible.

O ye who believe! Be not friendly with a folk with whom Allah is wroth, (a folk) who have despaired of the Hereafter as the disbelievers despair of those who are in the graves.

Do you not see those who took for friends a people whom Allah is wroth with? They neither belong to you nor you to them. They swear to a falsehood, and they do so knowingly.

Thou seest many of them making friends with those who disbelieve. Surely ill for them is that which they themselves send on before them that Allah will be wroth with them and in the doom they will abide.

Say 'Shall I tell you of a recompense with God, worse than that? Whomsoever God has cursed, and with whom He is wroth, and made some of them apes and swine, and worshippers of idols they are worse situated, and have gone further astray from the right way.

And that He may punish men and women (who are) hypocrites, and idolaters and idolatresses who entertain evil notions of God It is against them that the wheel of misfortune will turn, and God will be wroth with them, and condemn them. For them He has prepared Hell, an evil destination!

and that He may chastise the hypocrites, men and women alike, and the idolaters men and women alike, and those who think evil thoughts of God against them shall be the evil turn of fortune. God is wroth with them, and has cursed them, and has prepared for them Gehenna an evil homecoming!

And (that) He may punish the hypocritical men and the hypocritical women, and the polytheistic men and the polytheistic women, the entertainers of evil thoughts about Allah. On them is the evil turn, and Allah is wroth with them and has cursed them and prepared hell for them, and evil is the resort.

And may punish the hypocritical men and the hypocritical women, and the idolatrous men and the idolatrous women, who think an evil thought concerning Allah. For them is the evil turn of fortune, and Allah is wroth against them and hath cursed them, and hath made ready for them hell, a hapless journey's end.

And that He may chastise the hypocritical men and the hypocritical women and the associaters and the associatresses, the thinkers of evil thought concerning Allah. Unto them shall befell the evil turn of fortune, and Allah shall be wroth with them and shall curse them, and He hath gotten ready for them Hell an ill destination!

(He also did this) to chastise the hypocrites, both men and women, and those who associate others in His Divinity, both men and women, and who harbour evil thoughts about Allah. They shall be afflicted with misfortune, Allah is wroth with them. He has laid His curse upon them and has prepared for them Hell. What an evil end!
