Like a fleeting dream.

Alas, you love the fleeting life.

Art is long, time is fleeting.

Life may be swift and fleeting

Nay, but ye do love the fleeting Now

Nothing is permanent. And we are all fleeting.

Nay, (ye men!) but ye love the fleeting life,

We know our time on this Earth is fleeting.

Meaning that it is not permanent it's fleeting, it's limited.

The customers gave him fleeting glances, then returned to their conversations.

None except you, O disbelievers you love what you have, the fleeting one.

So you are looking at the crystallization of the fleeting formation of fear.

And Our command is only a fleeting one like the batting of an eyelid.

As for these they love the fleeting life, and leave behind a Heavy Day.

A fleeting moment, to laugh, to be warmed, to contemplate what could have been.

It can only be a state of being, not just a fleeting emotion, sensation.

A fleeting thought that drifts in and out of the transom of your mind.

Lo! these love fleeting life, and put behind them (the remembrance of) a grievous day.

What am I going to do with this short amount of time that's just fleeting?

Those kinds of fleeting thoughts that physically incapacitate you, that temporarily give you that deer in headlights look.

Indeed these people love what they have, the fleeting one, and have forsaken the immensely important day behind them.

As to these, they love the fleeting life, and put away behind them a Day (that will be) hard.

Meaning that, it is not permanent it's fleeting, it's limited it's only a sensation arising now, with belief or identity.

And that moment is right now, and those moments are counting down, and those moments are always, always, always fleeting.

O my people, the life of this world is nothing but fleeting enjoyment, but the Hereafter is the Home of Permanence.

The boat becomes a vessel of the fleeting journey from the void to birth, and traveling through life to the void at death.

For example, when you have a companion camera that's always with you, you can catch fleeting moments in your life that otherwise would be always lost.

So, because the basic fabric of consciousness is this pure cognitive quality that differentiates it from a stone, there is a possibility for change because all emotions are fleeting.

Whoever desires this fleeting one, We may give him quickly whatever We will, to whomever We will and then assign hell for him for him to enter it condemned, pushed around.

Whoever desires the fleeting life, We expedite for him what We decide to give him, to whomever We desire. Then We consign him to Hell, where he will roast, condemned and defeated.

For whosoever desires this fleeting life We hasten for him whatever We will and to whom We want. Then, We have prepared Gehenna for him where he will be roasted, condemned and rejected.

See, you know, all the time online we experience these fleeting moments of connection, these sort of brief adjacencies, a tweet or a Facebook post or an email, and it seemed like there was a physical corollary to that.

God gives abundantly to whom He will and sparingly to whom He pleases those who deny the truth rejoice in the life of this world yet the life of this world is but a fleeting pleasure compared with the life to come.

But no sooner than He delivers them than they go about committing excesses on the earth, acting unjustly. Men! The excesses you commit will be of harm only to yourselves, (Enjoy, if you will) the fleeting pleasure of this world in me end you shall all return to Us, and then We shall tell you what you did.
