So when you finish the prayer, strive in supplication.

When he called to his Lord a private supplication.

So, when you have finished (your prayer), labor (in supplication),

(In it) their supplication will be 'Exaltations to You, Allah' And their greeting will be 'Peace' They will end their supplication with 'Praise be to Allah, Lord of the all the Worlds'

Maybe our Lord will give us better than this. We turn to our Lord in supplication.

My Lord, make me one who performs the prayer, and from my offspring. Our Lord, accept my supplication.

My Lord! Make me a maintainer of prayer, and my descendants as well . Our Lord, accept my supplication.

Grant, O Lord, that I and my offspring may remain constant in devotion. Grant, O Lord, my supplication.

My Lord! make me establisher of prayer and also from my progeny, our Lord! and accept Thou my supplication.

My Lord, make me an establisher of prayer, and many from my descendants. Our Lord, and accept my supplication.

Man is not weary of supplication for good things , but if evil touches him, he is hopeless and despairing.

Whatsoever the blessings you enjoy are surely from God, and when in trouble you turn to Him in supplication.

(It will be said) Groan not in supplication this day for ye shall certainly not be helped by Us.

He (Allah) said 'Your supplication is answered so go straight and do not follow the way of those who do not know'

Praise to Allah, who has granted to me in old age Ishmael and Isaac. Indeed, my Lord is the Hearer of supplication.

Said He, Your supplication has already been granted. So be steadfast, and do not follow the way of those who do not know.

Until, when We seize in Punishment those of them who received the good things of this world, behold, they will groan in supplication!

When We bestow Our favour upon man, he turns away and waxes proud but when a misfortune touches him, he is full of supplication.

We sent no Prophet to a village but seized its inhabitants with misfortune and adversity in order that they might be humble in supplication.

Praise be to Allah who has given me Ishmael and Isaac in my old age! Indeed, my Lord is the Hearer of the supplication.

At that, Zechariah called upon his Lord, saying, My Lord, grant me from Yourself a good offspring. Indeed, You are the Hearer of supplication.

Allah said, Your supplication has been answered. So remain on a right course and follow not the way of those who do not know.

All praise be unto Allah who hath bestowed upon me, despite old age lsma'il and ls haq verily my Lord is the Hearer of supplication.

And when We bestow favor upon man, he turns away and distances himself but when evil touches him, then he is full of extensive supplication.

Say, What would my Lord care for you if not for your supplication? For you disbelievers have denied, so your denial is going to be adherent.

To Him alone is the supplication of truth. And those they call upon besides Him do not respond to them with a thing, except as one who stretches his hands toward water from afar, calling it to reach his mouth, but it will not reach it thus . And the supplication of the disbelievers is not but in error i.e. futility .

He said, My Lord, indeed my bones have weakened, and my head has filled with white, and never have I been in my supplication to You, my Lord, unhappy.

And He answers the supplication of those who have believed and done righteous deeds and increases for them from His bounty. But the disbelievers will have a severe punishment.

Say 'My Lord cares little for you if it was not for your supplication, indeed you have belied (the Messenger and the Koran) so it (the punishment) will be fastened'

Who is further astray than he who calls upon, other than Allah, those who will never answer him till the Day of Resurrection, who are indeed, heedless of their supplication?

They will say came there not your apostles Unto you with evidences? They will say Yea? They will say supplicate then yourselves. And supplication of the infidels will be but in wandering.

They will say, Did there not come to you your messengers with clear proofs? They will say, Yes. They will reply, Then supplicate yourselves , but the supplication of the disbelievers is not except in error.

Assuredly, that to which you invite me has no response to a supplication in this world or in the Hereafter and indeed, our return is to Allah, and indeed, the transgressors will be companions of the Fire.

If you supplicate to them they cannot hear your supplication, and if they heard, they cannot answer you. On the Day of Resurrection they will disown your associating. None can tell you like He who is the Aware.

When My worshipers ask you about Me, I am near. I answer the supplication of the suppliant when he calls to Me therefore, let them respond to Me and let them believe in Me, in order that they will be righteous.

If you invoke them, they do not hear your supplication and if they heard, they would not respond to you. And on the Day of Resurrection they will deny your association. And none can inform you like one Acquainted with all matters .

To those who repent and pay homage, give praise and are devout, who kneel in prayer and bow in supplication, who enjoin good deeds and prohibit the bad, and keep to the limits set by God, announce the news of rejoicing to the faithful.

Abraham only asked for forgiveness for his father because of a promise he had made to him. But when it became clear to him that he was an enemy of Allah, he declared himself quit of him. Surely, Abraham was earnest in his supplication and tenderhearted.

Unto Him is the true call, and those whom they call upon beside Him answer them not at all, save as is answered one stretching out his palms to water that it may reach his mouth, while it will reach it not. And the supplication of the infidels only goeth astray.

To call on Him is true (supplication). For those they invoke other than Him do not answer them at all, except like a man who stretches his hands towards the water that it reach his mouth, but it will never reach it. Not more than error are the prayers of infidels.
