But instead of its vertex, or its center or its starting point, or whatever you want to call it, to be at the origin, it's shifted now.

And then I'll do another video where I actually shift the hyperbola.

You do x squared plus 1.

And we established this was our f of t, so we just shifted it by c.

Let's say, minus 5.

And so essentially, it will shift, it will change the entire demand curve.

And then let's have the square root of x plus 4.

It might be a little non intuitive that you say minus 4 to shift to the right and plus 2 to shift to the left.

And remember, these are the asymptotes for this situation.

Notice it did exactly what I said. x minus 4 squared was shifted four to the right. x plus 2 squared, was shifted two to the left.

But what if (C) is a terminal a token, final part of the input?

But the way to recognize that is that you have this minus of the y squared term and then we actually have it shifted.

If U equals 3, they are cyclically shifted to the right by 3.

So with x squared, I'm going to do two things.

And remember ... when demand goes up, we're talking about the whole curve shifting to the right.

And that's where we said, hey, if we have e to the minus 2s in our Laplace transform, when you take the inverse Laplace transform, it must be the step function times the shifted version of that function.

Well, that matches up exactly with the token we were expecting, to the right of the red dot, so we get to shift over it.

This is the Laplace transform of e to the and what's a? a is what we shifted by.

Well, then this will just shift this Laplace transform by 1.

So that tells us the radius of the circle is 3.

It's not just about terrorism, though.

So if the mean goes from 0 to let's say it goes to 5.

What I do is I say, x minus 4. x minus 4 squared.
