And so, please consider this a work in progress, but I'd like to tell you today a story about a very rare cancer called midline carcinoma, about the undruggable protein target that causes this cancer, called BRD4, and about a molecule developed at my lab at Dana Farber Cancer Institute, called JQ1, which we affectionately named for Jun Qi, the chemist that made this molecule.

This is 20 year old dolphin living in Florida, and she had these lesions in her mouth that, over the course of three years, developed into invasive squamous cell cancers.

I mean, I'm a dermatologist.

He called me a flatfoot.

The shoes are more worn on the inner side, so he had weak arches.

Begin with the standing evaluation of the foot anatomy.

Ultraviolet rays can cause skin cancer.

Generally, they tend to be a little rounder in the middle.

And then we told them the average likelihood of someone like them to suffer these misfortunes.

And the star on his skin?

They throw up anti access, area denial asymmetrical strategies.

Cancer.

Cancer.

From cancer?

I guess you would've cut belts out of my back.

Average up speed

Well, you know, that's the point.

They are such an embarrassment!

I have cancer.

By the time you've reached 80, this is unlikely to happen to you.

And at the end of the ten days, they measured their amygdala, and this exact same analogous part of the rat brain grew.

This procedure is not like removing tonsils.

Might as well not allow them to take the test!

Like you have cancer,

We are dying to see you all. Miss you guys a lot.

We needed the subtleties of the skin.

Please save us!

But I think this is actually just the beginning of how we're going to treat cancer.

Now in medical science, we don't want to know, necessarily, just how cancer works, we want to know how your cancer is different from my cancer.

And then up here would be the intersection of the plane and the top one.

So let me move to cancer.

It's brain cancer.
