And, I mean, the world apparently is running out too.

If you find out now I understand.

Kira is already thriving.

They don't always get to everyone.

And it's Africa that stands out as the problem down here, doesn't it?

I have spent a lot of time there in the last three years.

It is said that the disease has been spreading.

We have seen it here in Mozambique.

And it read I'm just going to read a key sentence

I'll show you a guy who's done a lot of work.

Seventy percent it's unbelievable.

1974, we were down to five countries.

But you know, sort of our brains have been manipulated we're all addicts.

And we are able to use this money for many things

Probably there are three reasons.

We can date it to 700 years ago.

Well, there are probably three reasons.

The mob ground out a little profit and the police tried to shut them down one block at a time.

I have come to expect this level of interaction.

And also, the bitterness and even resentment towards the rich and the powerful is quite widespread.

Or maybe it was 31 and a quarter percent.

Only we're not living with each other our crazy selves are living with each other and perpetuating an epidemic of disconnection.

So that is consistent with this idea that disposability is something we believe in.

So, tonight, we're going to talk about the environment rather than the genes.

We know how to deal with these fellows, and ignored them.

That has sparked cholera epidemics in ports along the world and has led to increased concentration on trying to make sure shipping doesn't move these vectors of cholera around the world.

So we're thrilled.

We don't benefit from ignorance.

Within three days, we realized the problem was not housing it was the growing pandemic of HlV AlDS.

We see deforestation we see the desert spreading we see massive hunger we see disease and we see population growth in areas where there are more people living on a certain piece of land than the land can possibly support, and they're too poor to buy food from elsewhere.

But then when I discovered the situation in my country, at that time there was so much corruption.

Other estimates put that number at roughly double that number of infections.

That led to a number of prototypes being built and really experimenting with some ideas.

I'll go down to the lab and bring you up some photos of my fungus experiments.

Some in Africa follow, some Africans were stuck in civil wars, others hit by HlV.

And so we're on one planet, and we have to be able to get to the root of these problems.

Four hundred and fifty million of them are in Africa, and five million of them are in South Africa.

But even as we grasp at victory, there is a cancer, an evil tumour, growing, spreading in our midst.

Where we have now come to live in a world where the most extreme forms of violence, the most horrific poverty, genocide, mass rapes, the destruction of the Earth, is completely out of control.

It's as though something separates from the root.

And you would think, would you not, that with all our science, with all our advances in society, with better towns, better civilizations, better sanitation, wealth, that we would get better at controlling mosquitos, and hence reduce this disease.

It was an unfortunate trip, in its wake, the urn brought death and destruction.

In another set of studies we actually simply reminded people this was at a time when the swine flu was going around we reminded people that in order to prevent the spread of the flu that they ought to wash their hands.
