Now, visual thinking gave me a whole lot of insight into the animal mind.

Delusions are fixed and false beliefs that aren't responsive to evidence, and hallucinations are false sensory experiences.

This means that our perception of any situation depends only partly on sensory signals being received at that time.

Because things shrink in inverse proportion to the distance, you'd find it far away.

I am the perceiver of thoughts, of emotion, of time, of actions, of reactions, of interactions, of change, of hope.

Let me give you an example using a brick wall as a metaphor for external stimuli.

And it is only a very short step from there, to perception which occurs in the absence of all immediate signals and has to be labeled extrasensory.

When people have these simple geometrical hallucinations, the primary visual cortex is activated.

And it is He Who has created ears and eyes and hearts for you very little is the right you acknowledge.

It is He who produced for you hearing, and eyes, and hearts little thanks you show.

And He it is Who brought forth for you hearing and sight and hearts, little thanks ye give!

It is He, Who has created for you (the sense of) hearing (ears), sight (eyes), and hearts (understanding). Little thanks you give.
