And so that cash ended up here.

Whether people will continue to loan them money.

The bank accommodated the company with a loan.

We're now moving into East Africa.

Because all the banks are getting scared now.

Or you maybe have to come up with a new loan or something like that.

And so with patient capital from Acumen and other organizations,

We took it, repaid the first loan, then took the second, repaid and we go on repaying and increasing the amount.

But if this does open up lending markets and people start lending to the farmer or to the guy who wants to build factories, then maybe this is worth it.

Now, if you don't trust someone, you place restrictions on them, right?

Every time we went through a recession, from the mid '80s, onwards, the government solution was to make financing easier.

That's called paying off the principal.

And we'll go into this massive recession.

No one's willing to give you a loan, just because they're all a little bit scared.

And that was in place for a reason because you had to prove yourself worthy to get the financing.

The main person who caused that financial scandal is the president of ABC investment bank.

But these were essentially no down payment.
