And so the first of these that I will focus on the first is the price of competing products.

And luckily for us, it is a fairly intuitive idea.

The price of everything increased.

The other thing we assumed that's being held constant is price expectations for our good.

As expected, the price of imported goods rose.

Expectations... Expectations... of future prices. So let's say...

And the other?

Then auctions like eBay are another example of dynamic pricing.

Mass production reduced the price of many goods.

With this price, your product would not be competitive in the Japanese market.

Commodity tax is not included in the price.

Because in this system, machines are exempt from tax.

These pieces of plastic are worth about 100 grand apiece.

But one of the things that we always tend to confuse is the difference between a revenue model and pricing.

How does that change demand?

The last video we talked about the price of related goods(price of related goods)and if the price of related goods change, both compliments and substitutes, (how that might change) how that might increase or decrease demand, the entire curve not just one particular scenario.

And so what would happen if the price of a related good

And so, once again, if the price of related goods... well, it depends which related goods... but if the price of productive substitutes, so the price of other things I could produce... if the price of other things

And you can imagine the other way, if the Kindle's price went down, then that would shift my demand curve to the right.

Let's look at these cases a little bit more carefully and figure out what's going on.

When economists refer to inflation today, they are referring to a general increase in the level of prices of goods and services.

VAT is inserted at the end of the value chain and clearly declared.

They want to encourage high volume purchases, and so they have stepped pricing that is oriented to create volume.

For any given price, it's going to lower the quantity demanded.

Let's say a guy invents a better light bulb.

But that would not even be double counting..

I could actually price on specific customer segments or on features I know they need.

The quantity demanded will go down, and you can imagine the other side of that.

We have talked a little bit about the law of demand which tells us that, all else equal, if we raise the price of a product, then the quantity demanded for that product will go down. ..common sense.

How could you have prices that kind of move?

You would be correct that Company B was cheaper.

Alright?

If for whatever reason oil becomes scarce in a country like the United States, then the price of oil and gas would go up.

That is Scenario E.
